Abstract
Problems
with
taxon
name
author
citation
in
the
running
text
of
scientific
articles
are
outlined.
Particularly,

strings

increased

decades,
which
could
be

analysis

database.
In

because

names.

is
therefore
suggested
that

Scientific
names

fungi.
In
plant
pathology,
they

information
regarding
the
biology,
host
range,
distribution,
and
potential
risk.
Our
understanding
of
fungal
biodiversity
systematics
has
undergone
an
exponential
leap,
incorporating
genomics,
web-based
systems,
DNA
data
for
rapid
identification
to
species
metadata.
The
impact
our
ability
recognize
hitherto
unknown
organisms
on
pathology
trade
is
enormous
continues
grow.
Major
challenges
phytomycology
intertwined
with
Genera
Fungi
project,
which
adds
barcodes

corrects
