Objectives
This
study
examined
the
influence
of
parental
neglect
on
mobile
phone
dependency
among
higher
grade
students
in
Korean
elementary
schools
and
investigated
whether
social
withdrawal
self-esteem
mediated
this
relationship.
Methods
Data
were
obtained
from
Child-Youth
Panel
Survey
(KCYPS).
The
participants
2,067
sixth-grade
school
(1,066
boys,
1,001
girls).
data
analyzed
by
means
descriptive
statistics,
Pearson's
correlation,
structural
equation
modeling.
Results

as
follows.
