Penta Helix in Realizing the Capacity for Social Innovation Development in Addressing Coastal Poverty

This
study
analyzes
the
role
of
Penta
Helix
in
developing
social
innovation
to
address
poverty
coastal
areas
Riau
Islands.
Using
a
qualitative
research
method
with
case
approach,
problem
mapping
and
previous
studies
were
conducted
using
VOS
Viewer.
Data
collection
techniques
included
observation,
in-depth
interviews,
Focus
Group
Discussions
(FGDs),
documentation,
while
analysis
used
Miles
Huberman
method.
The
results
show
that
high
rates
several
areas,
such
as
Lingga
Regency
Tanjung
Pinang
City,
have
led
problems
crime,
instability,
migration.
Limited
access
education,
healthcare,
employment
opportunities
worsens
situation.
Although
empowerment
programs
been
implemented,
their
remain
limited.
A
collaborative
approach
involving
various
stakeholders
through
proves
be
effective
creating
more
sustainable
solutions
empower
communities.
Cross-sector
collaboration
between
government,
private
sector,
academia,
local
communities
is
expected
improve
welfare
reduce
impact
disasters
caused
by
poverty.
