ABSTRACT
Both
animals
and
plants
have
evolved
a
robust
immune
system
to
surveil
defeat
invading
pathogenic
microbes.
Evasion
of
host
surveillance
is
the

pathogens

such
as

Abstract
In
this
study,
we
investigated
the
interplay
between
nitrogen
nutrition
and
pectin
degradation
dynamics
during
Arabidopsis
Botrytis
interaction.
Our
findings
revealed
that
infected
detached
leaves
from
nitrogen-sufficient
plants
released
more
lyase
(PNL)-derived
oligogalacturonides
compared
to
nitrogen-deficient
ones.
We
then
focused
on
BcPNL1,
most
highly
expressed
PNL
upon
infection.
Using
mutant
strains
lacking
BcPNL1
,
observed
reduced
pathogenicity,
a
delay
in
germination
lag
triggering
plant
defense
response.
Additionally,
leaves,
elevated
expression
of
jasmonic
acid
repressor
genes
infection
with
wild-type
strain
was
abolished
mutants.

Abstract
The
use
of
the
genetic
components
involved
in
quantitative
disease
resistance
(QDR)

well
understood
