We calculated the reliable change index (RCI) and clinically significant (CSC) values for two widely used measures of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD): The Clinician-Administered PTSD Scale DSM-5 (CAPS-5) Checklist (PCL-5) examined how symptom changes at these thresholds related to improvements in psychosocial functioning. data from three independent samples male military veterans, including randomized controlled trials (N = 198 Sample 1 N 102 2) a cross-sectional study primary care patients 228). For 1, within-person CAPS-5 PCL-5 scores ≥ 13 15, respectively, was indicative change. 2, 12 18, Scores ≤ 8 28 on PCL-5, indicated participant is more likely belong non-PTSD population than (i.e., change) both Samples 2. Participants who exhibited or CSC reported significantly better functioning all posttreatment assessments those did not. Results provide identifying meaningful using measures. Background Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is associated with an increased risk of major depressive disorder (MDD) and post-traumatic stress (PTSD). We aimed to identify predictors develop models for the prediction depression PTSD symptoms at 6 months post-TBI. Methods analysed data from Collaborative European NeuroTrauma Effectiveness Research in Brain Injury study. used linear regression model relationship between (Patient Health Questionnaire-9) (PTSD Checklist Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders Fifth Edition). Predictors were selected based on Akaike’s Information Criterion. Additionally, we fitted logistic endpoints ‘probable MDD’ PTSD’. also examined incremental prognostic value 2–3 weeks symptoms. Results included 2163 adults (76% Glasgow Coma Scale=13–15). Depending scoring criteria, 7–18% screened positive probable MDD about 10% PTSD. For both outcomes, psychiatric history, employment status, sex, cause, alcohol intoxication total severity; preinjury health education. The performance was modest (proportion explained variance=R 2 8% 7% PTSD, respectively). Symptoms assessed had a large (delta R =0.25, 95% CI 0.24 0.26 symptoms; delta =0.30, 0.29 0.31 PTSD). Conclusion Preinjury characteristics, such as history unemployment, violent can increase mental problems after TBI. identification patients should be guided by early screening health.

Among FDP, symptoms avoidance (76.67 %), cognition hyperarousal (88.33 %) predominant, emphasizing significant role responses their potential impact other symptoms. Correlations (p < 0.05) found between age, gender, score PCL-5. Since the long-term mental health impact of COVID-19 is not yet fully understood, present study explored changes in outcomes and pandemic-related coping behaviors across four pandemic stages. The main objective was to gain insights into dynamics coping, considering different features at assessment waves. final sample consisted N = 243 adults from Austrian general population. Data were collected timepoints (between June 2020 December 2021) via LimeSurvey, an open-source online survey tool. Symptoms posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment (AD), anxiety, depression assessed using validated instruments: Primary Care PTSD Screen for DSM-5 (PC-PTSD-5), AD-New Module 8 (ADNM-8), Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ4). For we found differences subscales: healthy lifestyle: F(3, 651) 5.11, prevention adherence: F(2.73, 592.35) 21.88, joyful activities: 5.03. Taken together, our showed a higher burden wintertime than summertime, indicating increased need psychosocial support times stricter measures, incidences, death rates.
