Abstract Importance:The COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on the prevalence of anxiety symptoms among healthcare workers remains unclear. Objective This study intended to assess the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on anxiety and stress among healthcare professionals in Ethiopia. In 2016 the Malawi government embarked on several interrelated health sector reforms aimed at improving quality of services all levels care and attain Universal Health Coverage by 2030. Introduction Healthcare professionals play a great role in the struggle against COVID-19. They are highly susceptible to COVID-19 due their responsibilities. This susceptibility directly affects mental health status. Comprehensive evidence on prevalence of depression and insomnia during this pandemic is vital. Thus, study aims provide pooled insomnia, associated factors pandemic. Materials methods systematic review meta-analysis follow Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. Studies were searched from PubMed, Cochrane Library, CrossRef, African Journals Online Google Scholar databases occurence June 2022. Study selection, data extraction methodological quality assessment done by two authors independently. The I 2 statistics was used testing heterogeneity. A random effect model used. Stata version 16.0 statistical analysis. Results Eight studies incorporated meta-analysis. From seven 40% (95% CI [0.23–0.57]; = 99.00%; P 0.00). three 35% [0.13–0.58]; 98.20; Associated healthcare workers (HCWs) being female AOR: 2.09; 95% [1.41–2.76], been married (pooled AOR 2.95; [1.83–4.07]). Background The psychometric properties of the Primary Care PTSD Screen for DSM-5 (PC-PTSD-5) are undocumented in Kenya and sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) at large. This study aimed to evaluate Swahili version tool, S-PC-PTSD-5, a community sample adults 18 years older drawn from Nairobi, Mombasa Kwale counties Kenya. Methods Analysis cross-sectional data 1431 was conducted, examining reliability, factorial structure, measurement invariance, convergent divergent validity interviewer-administered S-PC-PTSD-5. Results Out who completed 666 (46.5%) reported experiencing least one traumatic event. Internal consistency S-PC-PTSD-5 good overall, with alpha omega values above 0.7. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) results indicated one-factor structure overall sample. Aim: Since the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak, medical staff have faced greater psychological stress and are prone to problems such as anxiety depression, confirmed by several studies. This study further clarifies status of Chinese during stable phase pandemic through a cross-sectional investigation in large population sample northern China. Methods: Subjects: Clinical frontline from seven hospitals Liaoning Province were recruited November 2020 February 2021. Research Tools: The research tools used Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Depression (SDS), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ), General Status Questionnaire. Statistical Analysis: SPSS 22.0, ANOVA variance analysis, multiple logistics regression for statistical analysis. P-values <0.05 indicated significant differences. Results: A total 3,144 completed survey (599 men [19.1%] 2,545 women [80.9%]; 1,020 doctors [32.4%] 2,124 nurses [67.6%]). Among all subjects, rates depression 21.1% (663/3, 144) 43.9% (1,381/3,144), respectively. Multiple logistic comparative analysis revealed that age (OR = 1.272, 95% CI 1.036-1.561, P 0.022), need counseling 1.566, 1.339-1.830, < 0.001), coexistence 0.050, 0.038-0.066, 0.001) significantly associated with anxiety.
