Eye strain when performing tasks reliant on a digital environment can cause discomfort, affecting productivity and quality of life. Digital eye (the preferred terminology) was defined as "the development or exacerbation recurrent ocular symptoms and/or signs related specifically to device screen viewing". prevalence up 97% has been reported, due no previously agreed definition/diagnostic criteria limitations current questionnaires which fail differentiate such from those arising non-digital tasks. Objective blink rate critical flicker frequency changes are not 'diagnostic' nor validated sensitive. Dry eye disease (DED) is among the most common diseases and becoming increasingly prevalent. Its symptoms cause a long-term decline in patients' health-related quality of life (HRQL). Inconsistencies often occur between clinical findings subjective DED. Therefore, holistic, balanced, quantitative evaluation HRQL using patient-reported outcome questionnaires, addition to findings, crucial for accurate DED assessment patients. This paper reviewed characteristics current dry including their objectives, number questions, inclusion HRQL-related items, whether they were properly evaluated psychometric properties. Dry eye disease (DED) after cataract surgery is associated with various risk factors, while causing a wide range of heterogeneous symptoms including decreased quality vision. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to determine the prevalence characteristics DED surgery. We searched PubMed EMBASE included studies on patients surgery, between January 2011 June 2020.
