Abstract In this study, we examine the relationship between various ethical motivations and types of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to better understand drivers green consumption behavior in context sustainability. Household food consumption is a major driver of environmental impacts globally. Promoting sustainable practices crucial for addressing the challenges resource depletion, waste, and climate change. This study investigates role media literacy in fostering awareness behavior. A total 432 Iranian consumers participated by completing an online structured questionnaire. The data was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), revealing that different aspects literacy, including usage, accessibility, content generation, critical understanding, accounted 93% variance awareness. Additionally, these factors explained 51% intention. combined influences intention 87% To promote consumption, it recommended to establish dedicated networks channels focus on delivering healthy content. Furthermore, organizing programs featuring experts interactive platforms, such as question-and-answer panels, can enhance understanding among media-literate audiences contribute adoption more practices.

Purpose This study explores green consumer behaviour among Generation Y (Gen Y) and Z Z) in India, applying the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) to assess how digital literacy eco-friendly behaviour, alongside knowledge, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, shape purchase intentions line with Sustainable Development Goal 12 (SDG 12). Design/methodology/approach The research involved a survey 680 randomly selected respondents from educational institutions across three northern Indian cities. Data collection was conducted using structured questionnaire items measured on 5-point Likert scale. Statistical methods, including confirmatory factor analysis, were used validate measurement model, while descriptive statistics, reliability regression analysis employed analyse data. Findings uncovers differences between Gen regarding factors influencing product intentions. Y’s are shaped by literacy, whereas Z’s also affected environmental knowledge norms. Research limitations/implications provides significant insights into determining enriching sustainable consumption practices. It highlights importance promoting intentions, differing roles norms generational cohorts. Practical implications Understanding drivers behind for enables stakeholders craft specific marketing strategies, programs, policy initiatives that promote behaviours mitigate impacts. Purpose This study aims to identify and describe the relationships among sensory-driven pleasure, cognition-driven symbolic-driven pleasure organic food purchase behavior considering moderating effects of functionality trust authenticity from viewpoint theory planned (TPB). Purpose Grounded in upper echelon (UE) theory, this study aims to examine the role of managerial competencies (business experience, financial literacy and digital literacy) sustainable development strategy, with resource management as a mediator. Design/methodology/approach The empirical data collection is conducted through survey completed by 297 top teams small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating Pakistan. With the rapid evolution of rural digital economy, analyzing impact literacy level on farm households’ formal borrowing is crucial for easing credit constraints and fostering economic growth. Leveraging data from 2020 China Family Panel Studies (CFPSs) applying binary probit models Karlson–Holm–Breen (KHB) method, this study delineates positive correlation between increased among households.
