In
this
short
review,
we
highlight
the
advancements
in
field
of
palladium-catalyzed
carbon
dioxide
utilization
for
synthesis
high
value
added
organic
molecules.
The
review
is
structured
on
basis
kind
substrate
undergoing
Pd-catalyzed
carboxylation
process.
Accordingly,
after
introductory
section,
main
sections
will
illustrate
olefinic
substrates,
acetylenic
and
other
substrates

Abstract
Carbon
dioxide
(CO
2
)
is
one
of
the
culprit
causes
global
climatic
changes.
Furthermore,
efficient
separation
CO
from
other
gaseous
mixtures
using
zeolitic
imidazolate
framework
(ZIF)‐based
materials
vital
for
several
processes
such
as
flue
gas
separation,
sweetening,
and
natural
processing.
ZIF‐based
are
emerging
adsorbents
catalysts
removal
via
adsorption
conversion
into
valuable
chemicals.
with
high‐adsorption/conversion
efficiencies
tunable
properties
can
be
achieved
by
judicious
synthesis
fabrication
methods.
We
reviewed
catalysis
(e.g.,
cycloaddition,
carboxylation,
hydrogenation,
N
‐formylation,
electrocatalysis,
photocatalysis).
In
addition,
recent
development
methods
membrane
technologies
ways
to
improve
performance
ZIF
membranes
were
highlighted.
The
prospective
point
view
promote
industrial
applications
commercialization
was
briefly
discussed.
Once
challenges
low
reproducibility
solved,
scalability
cost‐effectiveness
should
not
become
issues.

Catalysts

accessible
organic
sections.
MOFs
are
nanoporous
crystalline
materials
that
can
be
used
catalysts
facilitate
polymerization
reactions.
Their
chemical
structural
diversity
make
them
effective
various
reactions
compared
catalysts.

drug
delivery,

nanofilters,

The
review
focuses

MOF-enabled
value-added

production,
including

This
study
emphasizes
the
utility
of
a
Zn(
ii
)-functionalized
COF
in
developing
heterogeneous
recyclable
catalytic
system
for
generation
cyclic
carbonates
(up
to
99%
yield)
and
carbamates
94%
under
sustainable
conditions.
Cerium
(IV)-based
metal-organic
frameworks
(MOFs)
are
highly
desirable
due
to
their
unique
potential
in
fields
such
as
redox
catalysis
and
photocatalysis.
However,
the
high
reduction
of
CeIV
species
solution,
it
is
still
a
great
challenge
synthesize
-MOFs
with
novel
structures,
which
extremely
dominated
by
hexanuclear
Ce-O
cluster
inorganic
building
units
(IBUs).
Herein,
IBU
chain
containing
-MOF,
CSUST-3
(CSUST:
Changsha
University
Science
Technology),
was
successfully
prepared
using
kinetic
stabilization
study
UiO-66(Ce)-NDC
(H2
NDC=2,6-naphthalenedicarboxylic
acid).
Furthermore,
owing
superior
activity,
Lewis
acidity
semiconductor-like
behavior
Ce4+
,
activated
demonstrated
be
an
excellent
catalyst
for
CO2
chemical
fixation.
One-pot
synthesis

from

mild
conditions

designed

nano-sheet-like
porous
organic
polymer
(POP)
constructed
via
schematic
hydrothermal
process
and
characterized
it
using
PXRD,
N
2
adsorption–desorption
studies,
UV-vis,
XPS
microscopic
analyses
(TEM
FESEM).
