Despite increasing evidence to support an overlap between autism and anorexia nervosa (AN), underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. Social sensory factors have emerged as promising targets in both AN, however there remains scope compare these differences across autistic non-autistic experiences of AN. Drawing on dyadic multi-perspectives, this study explored social adults their parents and/or carers.Using interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA), interviews were conducted with 14 dyads, seven dyads dyads. Abstract Objectives Research suggests that leaders are effective when they ingroup prototypical (represent the identity of group seek to lead). Methods 519 questionnaire responses were obtained from 112 women attending a four‐session body acceptance program. Given program's focus, leader was conceptualized as difference between participants' perceptions leaders, versus members, diet at start therapy. Anorexia is a serious threat to young women’s wellbeing worldwide. The effectiveness of mental health intervention and treatment often evaluated on the basis changes in personal networks; however, development such measures for women with anorexia constrained due lack quantitative descriptions their social networks. The current study aimed to examine the relationship between early adaptive schemas and eating disorder symptomatology in adults.A cross-sectional, correlational design was used collect data from 352 females 36 males aged 18 49 years (M = 25.70, SD 7.04). Participants completed an online questionnaire, which included Young Positive Schema Questionnaire (YPSQ), Eating Disorder Examination-Questionnaire (EDE-Q) demographic measures.Four separate hierarchical multiple regression analyses showed that high levels of Healthy Boundaries low Optimism significantly predicted lower Restraint, Concern, Shape Concern Weight scores. Additionally, higher scores Emotional Openness Social Belonging while Self-Care Concern.The findings highlight protective function certain may play mitigating symptomatology. Moreover, allude potential modifiable therapy targets treatment disorders. Further research is needed investigate any differences diagnoses.
