Working while undertaking graduate education in nursing is challenging at any time. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many nurses continued to work on frontline completing their studies. Healthcare workers, including nurses, were routinely exposed several types of psychological trauma during pandemic. In this study, we seek generate an understanding influence registered nurses’ (RNs’) self-efficacy and job satisfaction commencing studies working clinical practice A qualitative descriptive design was used explore written reflections from 72 RNs enrolled first Master Nursing course online university. The RNs’ discussion postings related impact pandemic nursing. Data analysed using content thematic analysis. Analysis revealed five overriding themes around self-efficacy: level professional involvement guilt, communication information leadership, physical wellbeing, safety self others, relationships within profession. Background In recent years, emotional intelligence has become essential in the health profession. Objective This study recorded, investigated, and evaluated of primary care nurses by means an educational intervention Greece. Methods randomized clinical trial was conducted using a longitudinal experimental design. After obtaining written informed consent from each participant, total sample consisted 101 higher education working Two groups were created: control group (51 participants) (50 participants). Both initially completed questionnaire (pre-test). immediately followed where only participated, while there no group. Finally, all participants, regardless group, again same (post-test). The data analyzed Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson's x 2 Fisher's exact Student's t-test, non-parametric Mann-Whitney repeated measurement ANOVA. Results results indicated that had positive effect on as levels showed significant changes between first second measurements. Specifically, “self-emotion appraisal” dimension, increase scores 0.38 (p-value 0.001) two “emotion appraisal others” 0.27 0.011); for dimension “use emotion”, it 0.26 0.05), “regulation 0.37 0.008). Conclusion interventions aiming at developing have impact, they improve nurses’ skills. Emotional courses may be included nursing department curriculum, well similar programs staff. To reveal the relationships between leadership behaviour of nurse managers and nurses' levels job satisfaction compassion fatigue during COVID-19 pandemic.This descriptive cross-sectional study was performed with 353 professionals participating from 32 cities across Turkey. The data were collected online August November 2020 by using introductory information form, Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire, Leadership Behaviour Questionnaire Compassion Fatigue subdimension Professional Quality Life Scale. Strengthening Reporting Observational Studies in Epidemiology (STROBE) guidelines followed study.Nurses mostly stated their as employee-oriented change-oriented leaders. Nurses' intrinsic overall high, extrinsic low at a critical level pandemic. According to personal professional characteristics, there significant differences satisfaction, scores. When exhibit behaviour, decreases increases.

Purpose Effective leadership in public health organisations is essential for achieving positive outcomes and ensuring the quality of healthcare services. This review aimed to identify competencies that nurse leaders working field need perform their tasks effectively. Design/methodology/approach A descriptive method with a scoping was used, searching PubMed, ScienceDirect, CINAHL databases. total 16 references were suitable final analysis. summative literature analysis conducted, identifying ( N = 69) across various sources. The identified analysed by qualitative approach. Findings Competencies categorised 11 groups: Identifying Needs Continuous Improvement; Strategic Planning Line Vision Mission; Ensuring Professional Development; Maintaining Motivation; Delegating Managing Tasks; Communication Skills; Building Relationships Decision Makers; Problem Solving Conflict Management; Tracking Trends Using Accurate Information; Resource Management Human Organising Work. Originality/value groups nurses provide content direction educational activities at summarise most important required effective organisations. Competent vital success effectiveness delivering services addressing evolving needs. Further research within specific recommended additional, field-specific diverse organisational settings.
