people

short-format

recommendation
systems
that

streams

we
analyze
user
engagement
TikTok
using
data
collect
via
a
donation
system
allows
users
to
donate
their
data.

recruited
347
collected
9.2M
video
recommendations
they
received.
By
analyzing
engagement,
find
average
daily
usage
time
increases
over
users'
lifetime
while
attention
remains
stable
at
around
45%.
