Rhein
(RH),

natural

colitis
(UC),

contribute

intestinal
barrier
repair,
and
microflora
regulation.
However,
the
application
of
RH
severely
limited
by
its
low
water
solubility,
bioavailability,
poor
colonic
targeting.
Although
some
nanoparticles
have
been
developed
oral
delivery
RH,
most
them
mainly
highlighted
only
one
effect

polysaccharide-based
nanodelivery

chitosan

Background:
An
animal
model
