A series of novel indole quinoline derived chalcones were synthesized using cost-effective synergetic catalytic system consisting heterogeneous basic bleaching earth clay (pH 12.5) and PEG-400 as solvent at ambient temperature with the yields 60-76%. All these characterized by spectral data. Both DPPH SOR scavenging assays performed to evaluate their antioxidant nature compounds.

The synthesis of dihydropyridines, valuable molecules with diverse therapeutic properties, using eco-friendly heterogeneous catalysts as a green alternative received significant consideration. By selecting appropriate precursors, these compounds can be readily modified to induce the desired properties in target product. This review focused on synthesising dihydropyridine derivatives single-pot reactions magnetic, silica, and zirconium-based catalytic systems. monograph describes preparation techniques for various catalyst materials detail. It covers facile benign zirconium-based, ionic liquid catalysts, exhibiting efficacy consistently facilitating excellent yields short reaction times cost-effective way. Most designated protocols employ Hantzsch involving substituted aldehydes, active methylene compounds, ammonium acetate. These presumably follow Knoevenagel condensation followed by Michael addition intra-molecular cyclisation. multicomponent one-pot solvents have admirably increased product selectivity while minimising time. sustainable retain their viability several cycles reducing expenditure are eco-friendly.

We report a facile, efficient, and environmentally benign approach for preparing morpholino-linked 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives. The four-component fusion of morpholin-4-amine, diethyl acetylene dicarboxylate, malononitrile, chosen substituted benzaldehydes occurred under microwave irradiation mild conditions in the presence potassium carbonate as catalyst. This protocol offers remarkable benefits such excellent yields (92–98 %), easy handling, simple workup, economy, cleaner reaction profile, green conditions, shorter time (≤10 min), avoiding column chromatography purification.
