Abstract Gliomas are the most common primary tumors of central nervous system, with glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) having highest incidence, and their therapeutic efficacy depends primarily on extent surgical resection postoperative chemotherapy. The role intracranial blood–brain barrier occurrence drug‐resistant gene O6‐methylguanine‐DNA methyltransferase have greatly limited chemotherapeutic agents in patients GBM made it difficult to achieve expected clinical response. The expansion applications of semiconducting polymer dots (Pdots) among optical nanomaterial field have long posed a challenge for researchers, promoting their intelligent application in multifunctional nano-imaging systems and integrated nanomedicine carriers diagnosis treatment. Despite notable progress, several inadequacies still persist the Pdots, including development simplified near-infrared (NIR) nanoprobes, elucidation inherent biological behavior, integration information processing nanotechnology into biomedical applications. This review aims to comprehensively elucidate current status Pdots as classical nanophotonic material by discussing its advantages limitations terms biocompatibility, adaptability microenvironments vivo, etc. Multifunctional surface chemistry play crucial roles realizing Pdots. Information visualization based on physicochemical properties is pivotal achieving detection, sensing, labeling probes. The long history of clinical experience in China have confirmed the effectiveness traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treating prostate cancer (PCa). Until now, several bioactive compounds with anti-PCa potential, such as curcumin, gallic acid, and quercetin, been extracted from TCM. Recent studies shown that encapsulating these TCM into nano-delivery system enhanced their bioavailability improved ability to target PCa tumors.

An environmentally friendly smart ink was developed by incorporating fluorescein into functionalized poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) nanoparticles synthesized using an emulsifier-free emulsion copolymerization approach. The functional comonomers of 2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA), acrylamide, hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and glycidyl in 10 wt % with respect to methyl were used obtain the colloidal PMMA nanoparticles. Field emission scanning electron microscopy results showed that all have nearly spherical morphologies variations size surface smoothness due presence different comonomers. Abstract Aggregate materials have attracted tremendous attention because of their modified or totally different properties compared with molecular counterparts. Among various mesoscopic aggregate materials, polymeric micromaterials possess the advantages diverse structures and flexible manufacturing, enabling them to serve as excellent carriers for aggregation‐induced emission luminogens (AIEgens) good platforms research science. In recent years, constructed from AIEgens witnessed rapid development show great application potential in fields, such environmental sensing, multicolor displaying, energy conversion. This review summarizes progress on design, preparation, structure, applications AIEgen‐based micromaterials. According structure features, are divided into three categories, including microsphere, microfiber, other‐shaped microparticles. The most representative examples each category highlighted by focusing subdivision solid porous microcapsule, microfiber doped‐ coated AIEgens, core–shell microfiber. Finally, challenges prospects this field also discussed. It is hoped that can provide readers an overall view boost further research.

Abstract Nanostructuration of dynamic helical polymers such as poly(phenylacetylene)s (PPAs) depends on the secondary structure adopted by polymer and functional group used to connect chiral pendant PPA backbone. Increasing the security by multilevel authentication mechanism was most significant challenge in recent years for development of anticounterfeiting inks based on photoluminescent nanomaterials. For this purpose, greatest strategy is use multicomponent organic materials and a combination Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) with intelligent behavior photochromic compounds like spiropyran. Here, hydroxyl-functionalized polymer nanoparticles were synthesized emulsion copolymerization methyl methacrylate (MMA) 2-hydroxyethyl (HEMA) different compositions (0-30 wt % HEMA). Results illustrated that size changed from 64 to 204 nm, morphology evolution spherical Janus shape observed increasing concentration HEMA. Photoluminescent red, green, blue (RGB) fluorescence emissions prepared modification containing 15 HEMA spiropyran, fluorescein, coumarin, respectively.
