The objective of this study was to psychologically reconstruct the life Oliver Reginald Tambo (1917-1993), using integrated African-centred psychological approaches. researchers applied a constructivist, single-case psychobiographical approach and Alexander's (1988) principal identifiers salience analyse primary secondary biographical data available on Tambo's life. From these analyses, we characterise reflect following influential values: (i) God humaneness traditional African (grounded within macro-cosmos); (ii) ubuntu in view human nature (as part micro-cosmos); as well (iii) Christianity that permeated all aspects his everyday from young age. This psychobiography was undertaken on the creative life of eminent composer Johann Baptist Strauss II (1825–1899). As an Austrian violinist, conductor, and he produced acclaimed waltzes, quadrilles, polkas devoted time to operettas ballets. He dubbed 'Waltz King' after composed 'The Blue Danube'. Abstract This book explains what makes for effective, accurate, compelling psychobiography. Psychobiography refers to the study, using psychological perspectives, of lives notable figures in history, politics, intellectual life, arts, and other fields. The essence psychobiography is gaining access inner world subjects: Why did they act as did? What are their motivations, strivings, preoccupations?
