Abstract Background Widespread digital transformation necessitates developing competencies for public health practice. Given work in 2024 to update Canada’s core competencies, there are opportunities consider competencies. In our previous research, we identified competency and training recommendations within the literature. this study, explored practitioners' experiences perspectives on adapting Canada. Methods Between November December 2023, conducted an interpretive description using four focus groups with 19 practitioners working regional federal authorities across Canada, at least 3 years’ experience current roles technologies We practitioners’ sought their opinions how previously could be adapted context. Background The digital information environment poses challenges for pregnant women and other people seeking care, as well their midwives health care professionals (HCPs).
