Dunaliella salina is a green microalga known for its high carotene content, especially in β-carotene isomers, which are very interesting compounds due to their biological activity. Tons of orange by-products (OBPs) are generated during industrial processing. Currently, OBPs management is challenging due to their high amounts, physico-chemical characteristics (high water content, low pH, presence essential oils) and seasonal nature the production. Whereas agro-industrial can be highly valuable abundant sources bioactive compounds, which add value novel bakery products (e.g. bread, biscuits, cakes). This review covers most recent research issues linked use in products, with a focus on available stabilization methods main challenges designing improved products. The extraction of bioactive compounds from marine natural products has gained increasing attention due to their diverse applications, such as in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics. Yet, low yields toxicity associated with common solvents are a major bottleneck. Deep eutectic (DESs) deep (NADESs) have emerged promising green alternatives conventional organic solvents, offering advantages biodegradability, greater environmental economic sustainability, toxicity, enhanced selectivity. This review provides comprehensive analysis the principles, physicochemical properties, applications DESs/NADESs obtain organisms. This study aimed to investigate the content of oxygen heterocyclic compounds, especially coumarin and furocoumarins, in cosmetics products scented with Citrus essential oils.
