The COVID pandemic has had deleterious effects on the mental health of global population. Parents children with CHD were particularly vulnerable to negative outcomes such as depression, anxiety, and perceived stress. A better understanding parent experiences, needs, concerns while navigating healthcare system during a is needed. Online survey responses from 71 parents young representing families across United States America Canada analysed. Qualitative data collected one year into pandemic. Thematic analysis was used examine open-ended question "What would you like professionals (doctors, nurses) know about your experience being child COVID-19 pandemic?." Abstract Upon the outbreak of SARS‐CoV‐2 virus, it was clear that pandemic would not only entail physical but also psychological challenges and threats to individuals’ sustained motivation, behavioral adherence, mental health. To encourage Belgian authorities take these aspects into account, Motivation Barometer, a large‐scale dynamic survey, launched in March 2020. Its purpose monitor cognitive, affective, citizens’ functioning across pandemic, with special attention given motivational social factors. Postponed parenthood is considered one of the most extensive changes in process family formation. Among many reasons for deferred parenthood, those related to greater feelings incompetence as a potential parent, self-focus, perceiving burden, fearing that birth child may bring person's life, financial insecurity, and worrying about child's future seem particularly important.
