Abstract Guinea grass seed starch nanoparticles (GSNPs) Were prepared via nanoprecipitation and dual‐modified with 3% octenyl succinic anhydride (OSA) pulsed electric fields (PEF) (1.5, 3.0, 4.5 kV cm⁻¹). Native modified GSNPs assessed for cytotoxicity (Caco‐2 cells), in vitro digestibility, their ability to stabilize Pickering emulsions. The results showed no significant impact on cell viability or metabolic activity across all concentrations modifications. digestibility profile revealed that native more digestible (62.61%) compared samples (53.49%). logarithmic slope analysis indicated the digestion profiles of followed a linear trend ( r ² 〉 0.86), characterized by first‐order kinetics. emulsions containing 0.25–2% exhibited good stability, higher (1–2%) ensuring 100% emulsified phase coverage excellent storage stability. In this study, barley sprout powder/pectin (BS/Pec) composite film was prepared. Quercetin (Qu) and vanadium oxide (V2O5) nanoparticles were used to improve the physicochemical structural characteristics of film. The structural, thermal properties films investigated by various techniques such as TGA, SEM, XRD, FTIR, texture analysis, etc. thickness tensile strength increased from 120 μm 2.4 MPa 220 6 respectively with increase V2O5 quercetin pigment. Nanoparticles decreased moisture content 50% 20%. had little effect in reducing water vapor permeability (WVP), but a significant WVP. pure BS/Pec almost 30% antioxidant properties, which 81% quercetin. Sustainable food packaging materials have significant interest in addressing environmental issues by making renewable substitutes such as bioplastics based on pectin. Orange peel has a relatively high pectin content of 42.5%, which can be synthesized into bioplastics. Pectin-based tend to limitations terms mechanical and physical strength due the hygroscopic nature This study aims determine effect adding glycerol sago starch characteristics orange pectin-based The casting method was used bioplastic formulation using variation pectin:starch ratio (75:25, 65:35, 55:45; 50:50%) composition (10, 20, 30, 40%). Based results, obtained categorized low methoxyl ester characterizations achieved maximum value tensile 4.22 MPa, (50:50%) 10% glycerol. elongation properties at break is 24%, (75:25%) 40% more additions result higher water vapor evaporation rate. Hence, utilizing offers sustainable solution exploring repurposing waste create for packaging, thereby contributing preservation.
