Genetic diversity and population structure of Iranian oak (Quercus spp.) accessions based on ISSR and CBDP markers

Quercus
brantii
var.
persica

infectoria
are
two
economically
ecologically
important
oak
species
widespread
in
the
Zagros
forest,
located
northwestern
southwestern
parts
of
Iran.
An
effective
study
genetic
diversity
population
structure
these
resources
is
still
unexplored.
In
present
study,
48
accessions
mentioned
collected
from
different
regions
Kermanshah
province
were
subjected
to
a
using
sets
markers
(inter-simple
sequence
repeats
[ISSR]
CAAT-box
derived
polymorphism
[CBDP]).
CBDP
showed
greater
efficiency
detecting
individuals
studied.
The
analysis
molecular
variance
[AMOVA]
that
variation
within
species,
as
well
per
was
higher
than
between
species.
had
highest
values
for
all
indicators
variability.
Moreover,
at
regional
level,
Dalahoo
populations
both
ISSR
markers.
This
population,
along
with
Gilan-e-Gharb
results
indicate
high
level
isolated
regions,
which
turn
promotes
formation
structure.
Therefore,
this
may
contribute
further
conservation
improvement
Iranian
germplasm.
