Environmental pollution brought on by xenobiotics and other related recalcitrant compounds have recently been identified as a major risk to both human health the natural environment. Due their toxicity non-biodegradability, wide range of pollutants, such heavy metals, polychlorinated biphenyls, plastics, various agrochemicals are present in Bioremediation is an effective cleaning technique for removing toxic waste from polluted environments that gaining popularity. Various microorganisms, including aerobes anaerobes, used bioremediation treat contaminated sites. Microorganisms play role bioremediation, given it process which hazardous wastes pollutants eliminated, degraded, detoxified, immobilized. Pollutants degraded converted less forms, primary goal bioremediation. Ex situ or can be used, depending variety factors, cost, pollutant types, concentration. As result, suitable method has chosen. This review focuses most recent developments techniques, how microorganisms break down different what future holds order reduce amount world.

Water resources are crucial in developing any area as they serve a major source of potable, agricultural, and industrial water. contamination, caused by natural anthropogenic activities, poses significant threat to public health globally. This review synthesizes data from various studies published national international journals, well reports governmental non-governmental organizations. Our primary objective is understand previous research on water pollution, contamination types, the effects health. pollution generally involve scientific understanding biological, chemical, physical processes that control movement contaminants underground environment. The nature severity consequences vary based several factors, including chemical composition, duration exposure, concentration pollutants. work highlights human risks associated with current topics such anthropogenic, geogenic, microplastics, pharmaceuticals, heavy metals. A section remedial measures mitigation strategies included emphasize sustainable approaches conservation, replenishment, sustainability. However, there lack comprehensive knowledge regarding distribution, toxic effects, different sources contamination. thus establishes links between multiple their toxicity health, risk assessment.

Silicon (Si) is considered a non-essential element similar to cadmium, arsenic, lead, etc., for plants, yet Si beneficial plant growth, so it also referred as quasi-essential (similar aluminum, cobalt, sodium and selenium). An if not required by plants but its absence results in significant negative consequences or anomalies reproduction development. reported reduce the impacts of different stresses plants. The accumulation on tissue surface primarily responsible these positive influences such increasing antioxidant activity while reducing soil pollutant absorption. Because advantageous properties, application Si-based nanoparticles (Si-NPs) agricultural food production has received great deal interest. Furthermore, conventional fertilizers are have low bioavailability; therefore, development implementation nano-Si with high bioavailability could be crucial viable production. Thus, this context, objectives review summarize effects both Si-NPs microbes, growth various pathogens diseases. change microbial colonies biomass, influence rhizospheric microbes biomass content able improve fertility.

Petroleum hydrocarbons (PHs) are used as raw materials in many industries and primary energy sources. However, excessive PHs act soil pollutants, posing serious threats to living organisms. Various ex-situ or in-situ chemical biological methods applied restore polluted soil. most of the treatment expensive, environmentally unfriendly, sometimes inefficient. That attracts scientists researchers develop select new strategists remediate through risk-based analysis eco-friendly manner. This review discusses sources PHs, properties, distribution, transport, fate environment, internal external factors affecting remediation restoration process, its effective re-utilization for agriculture. Bioremediation is an method degrading specifically by using microorganisms. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies being monitor contaminated sites. Currently, these have caused a paradigm shift giving insights into microbially mediated biodegradation processes targeting rRNA discussed concisely. The recent development management contamination challenges future perspectives also discussed. Furthermore, nanotechnology seems very promising remediation, but success depends on cost-effectiveness. paper suggests bio-electrochemical systems that utilize electro-chemically active microorganisms with would be eco-friendlier help tailor-made sustainable technologies.

Agriculture has a lot of responsibility as the rise in world's population demands more food requirements. However, than one type biotic and abiotic stress continually impacts agricultural productivity. Drought is major that significantly affects productivity every year plants undergo several morphological, biochemical, physiological modifications, such repressed root shoot growth, reduced photosynthesis transpiration rate, excessive production reactive oxygen species (ROS), osmotic adjustments, modified leaf senescence regulating signaling pathways. Such modifications may permanently damage plants; therefore, mitigation strategies must be developed. The use drought resistant crop cultivars expensive labor-intensive with few advantages. exploiting plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) proven alternative numerous direct indirect PGPR confers induced systemic tolerance (IST) mechanisms response to via multiple mechanisms, including alteration architecture, maintenance high relative water content, improvement phytohormones, exopolysaccharides, ACC deaminase, carotenoids volatiles, induction antioxidant defense system, stress-responsive gene expression. commercial application bioinoculants or biostimulants will remain contingent on robust strain selection performance under unfavorable environmental conditions. This review highlights possible by activating adaptive systems for enhancing improving overall yield.
