Abstract With the rapid development of telecommunication networks, predictability network traffic is significant interest in analysis and optimization, bandwidth allocation, load balancing adjustment. Consequently, recent years, research attention has been paid to forecasting traffic. Telecommunication problems can be considered a time‐series problem, wherein periodic historical data fed as input model. Time‐series approaches are broadly categorized statistical machine learning (ML) methods their combinations. Statistical forecast linear characteristics data, unable capture nonlinear complex patterns. ML‐based model data. In hybrid combining have widely used characteristics. However, performance these highly depends on feature selection techniques hyper‐parameter tuning ML methods. A novel method proposed for short‐term based hyperparameter optimization address this problem. It combines components First, technique, modified mutual information combination targets, find candidate variables. Next, vector auto regressive moving average (VARMA), long memory (LSTM), multilayer perceptron (MLP), called VARMA‐LSTM‐MLP forecaster, suggested metaheuristic algorithm, composed firefly BAT, employed optimal set values. The assessed by real‐world dataset containing Tehran city's daily IRAN. evaluation results demonstrate that outperforms existing terms mean squared error absolute error.

Multilevel inverters (MLI) are popular in high-power applications. MLIs generally configured to have switches reduced by switching techniques that eliminate low-order harmonics. The selective harmonic elimination (SHE) method, which significantly reduces the number of switching, determines optimal moments obtain desired output voltage and eliminates components. To solve SHE problem, classical methods primarily employed. disadvantages such high probability trapping locally solutions their dependence on initial controlling parameters. One solution overcome this problem is use metaheuristic algorithms. In study, firstly, 22 algorithms with different sources inspiration were used at levels MLIs, performances extensively analyzed. reveal method offers best solution, these first applied an 11-level MLI circuit, six determined as a result performance analysis. As evaluation, outstanding SPBO, BMO, GA, GWO, MFO, SPSA. application superior 7-, 11-, 15-, 19-level according IEEE 519—2014 standard, it has been shown BMO outperforms 7-level MLI, GA SPBO 15- terms THD, while quality, SPSA 15-level come forward.

This research emphasizes a meta-heuristic modified ant lion optimizer (MALO) optimization approach for the simultaneous utilization of DSTATCOM devices and distributed photovoltaic (PV) sources with network reconfiguration in radial power distribution scheme. In reconfiguration, majority is based on constant model analysis. However, it noticed that load models have substantial impact PV device’s optimal size position. The effect (CP) polynomial (ZIP) growth insertion examined this work system planning. penetration levels considered investigation are 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%. principal objective to reduce total losses, enhance voltage magnitude profile at all buses, overall operating cost while adhering equality inequality constraints. proposed algorithm verified 118-node test systems. carried out planning upgrading high-voltage (HVDS) 317 nodes rural Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) simulated results obtained method validated BAT techniques available literature. It observed IEEE 118-bus system, via placement sizing considering 25% level during loss reduction 41.47% 42.98% ZIP model. For 317-bus 11 kV 49.77% 59.34% growth. Similarly, 22 51.69% 55.75%
