The
rising
incidence
of
Alzheimer's
disease
(AD)
and
the
associated
economic
impacts
has
prompted
a
global
focus
in
field.
In
recent
years,
there
been
growing
understanding
pathogenic
mechanisms
AD,
including
aggregation
β-amyloid,
hyperphosphorylated
tau,
neuroinflammation.
These
processes
collectively
lead
to
neurodegeneration
cognitive
decline,
which
ultimately
results

autonomy
patients.
Currently,

three

types

treatments:

pharmacological

interventions.
This
review
provides
comprehensive

Abstract
Ferroptosis,
a
unique
modality
of
cell
death
with
mechanistic
and
morphological
differences
from
other
modes,
plays
pivotal
role
in
regulating
tumorigenesis

new
opportunity
for
modulating
anticancer
drug
resistance.
Aberrant
epigenetic
modifications
posttranslational
(PTMs)
promote
resistance,
cancer
progression,
metastasis.
Accumulating
studies
indicate
that

ferroptosis
functions
as

nervous

diseases
(NSDs),
