Cortinarius species are widely distributed in the world and constitute a diverse group of ectomycorrhizal fungi that associated with broad range plant hosts. The diversity this genus has been investigated China, but it remains poorly understood, especially subtropical region. In study, one new section, six novel species, combination, name, record reported from China based on morphological molecular evidences. lilacinicarpus, C. sinocalaisopus, sinosalor, vividus spp. nov., orientisalor nom. illibatus typical section Delibuti. macroflavicapus sp. nov. belongs to Macroflavicapi sect. subgenus Dermocybe. tianbaoyanensis dryadicola comb. belong Spilomei.
