Neohelicomyces species are a group of helicosporous hyphomycetes with the potential to produce secondary metabolites. During our investigation fungi, six collections were isolated from both terrestrial and freshwater habitats in Guizhou Province, China. Based on multigene phylogenetic analysis (ITS, LSU, tef1α rpb2 ), coupled morphological data, three new species, viz. N. guizhouensis , helicosporus hydei established. A list accepted molecular data was provided. The strain pallidus (UAMH 10535) synonymised under denticulatus based data.

Lignicolous freshwater fungi form a highly diverse group and are primarily distributed in the classes Dothideomycetes Sordariomycetes. During an investigation of lignicolous on Tibetan Plateau, China, four collections were obtained from submerged wood habitats. Morphological studies combined with multi-gene phylogenetic analysis based ITS, LSU, SSU, RPB2 indicated that collected taxa belonged orders Conioscyphales Cordanales Based evidence morpho-molecular analyses, two new species, Conioscypha xizangensis Cordana linzhiensis, introduced descriptions their hyphomycetous asexual states. shows close relationship tenebrosa but, unlike has phialidic integrated conidiogenous cells. linzhiensis forms distinct clade within genus possesses unique characteristics compared existing species having swollen conidiophores, polyblastic, clavate, or cylindrical cells, solitary acropleurogenous conidia hyaline mucoid sheath. These discoveries further add to diversity Plateau.
