Abstract Purpose This study investigated the associations between retrospective reports of body image victimization (i.e. shaming) perpetrated by peers and parents during childhood or adolescence, food alcohol disturbance (FAD) in young adulthood, considering possible mediating role psychological distress subthreshold symptoms anxiety depression). Methods The involved 1624 adults aged 18 30 (69% women), who completed an online survey. Food and alcohol disturbance (FAD) is characterized by the association of use with compensatory behaviors such as restricting calories, physical activity purging. Despite not being part current nosography, research has grown in past 10 years, mostly on college students' samples. In this study, we aim to describe prevalence, characteristics FAD problem drinking (PD) eating disorder risk (EDR) a sample Italian high school students. Participants were 900 students (53.6% males; mean age = 16.22) that administered standardized questionnaires. Students who screened positive for PD, EDR both were, respectively, 17.3%, 5.9% 1.3%. Approximately one out four reported behaviors, control weight higher prevalence severity among those PD. This study aimed to investigate Theory of Mind (ToM) and emotional awareness in drunkorexia, an emerging behavior characterized by calorie restriction when drinking alcohol is planned. A sample 246 adolescents (148 females, 98 males; range 17–20) completed self-reported measures assessing ToM lack awareness. Drunkorexia was negatively correlated with abilities, reading neutral emotions, positively were also found predict drunkorexia. Method: We conducted cross-sectional across all governorates (September-December 2020; N = 258). Objective: Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is one of the most severe psychiatric disorders. This study aimed to predict distress tolerance, impulsivity, and aggression based on emotional dysregulation reward sensitivity among individuals with BPD features. Assessment of Emotional Dysregulation and Sleep Quality in Recovered COVID-19 Patients in Haryana DOI Open Access

Introduction: The COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent lockdown have created widespread concern, literatures describe the side effects on mental health sleep quality. Aim: aim of study was to explore emotional dysregulation quality following recovery in people who attended psychiatry outpatient department services, Haryana. Methods: It a crosssectional study, patients had contracted infection recovered were enrolled (n=74). These all selected based inclusion criteria with hospitalization or non-hospitalization presence at post-recovery OPD, assessed analyzed descriptively self-report questionnaires, i. e., Difficulties Emotional Regulation Scale (DERS) Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results: majority participants (83%) between ages 36 55, married (94%) completed least matric (55%). 14% history chronic illness (types unknown), 52% hospitalized due infection. Results revealed clear disturbance regulation A total high mean score (standard deviation) onDERS scale 99.91 (19.94) indicated higher level dysregulation.Similarly, global PSQI 10.49 (1.50) also significantly disturb functioning sleep, as more than 5 indicate disturbance.Differences non-hospitalized seen.Present findings highlight importance extensive assessment post patients.
