The effect of error aversion climate on impoverished leadership

Introduction
Impoverished
leadership,
as
a
form
of
unethical
leadership
behavior,
can
have
wide
range
negative
impacts.
It
not
only
affects
team
morale,
work
efficiency,
cohesion,
and
trust
but
also
directly
influences
organizational
performance,
reputation,
the
leader’s
own
career
development.
However,
previous
research
has
rarely
explored
antecedents
impoverished
leadership.
Methods
Based
on
social
cognitive
theory
conservation
resources
theory,
this
study
investigated
impact
error
aversion
climate
with
mixed
methodologies
(i.e.,
scenario
experiment
questionnaire
survey).

Academic
misconduct

undergraduates’
learning
motivation,

Self-Determination
Theory
and
personality
traits

questionnaires,
we
measured
level
of
misconduct,
