Recent studies have demonstrated that the uterus has its own microbiota. However, there is no consensus on endometrial microbiota composition, thus role in healthy uterine environment still a frontier topic. Endometrial receptivity key to embryo implantation, and this specific context immunological tolerance against fetal antigens tightly regulated expression of inflammatory mediators are fundamental. According recent evidence, may interact very dynamic way with immune system during peri-conceptional stage later pregnancy. For reason, condition dysbiosis might lead adverse pregnancy outcomes. The aim review summarize evidence molecular mechanisms by which system. purpose, link between reproductive disorders, such as infertility, recurrent loss (RPL), preterm birth, will be discussed. In conclusion, most findings from analyses reported illustrate possibly overcome intrinsic limitations detection (low biomass, high risk contamination sampling, lack standardization).

Abstract Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB) is common, often debilitating, and may affect over 50% of reproductive‐aged women girls. Whereas AUB a collection symptoms that include intermenstrual abnormalities in period duration, cycle length, regularity, it heavy menstrual (HMB) most contributory to iron deficiency related anemia. It apparent AUB, general, HMB, particular, remain underrecognized underreported. FIGO created two systems for assessing classifying AUB. System 1 defines the pattern using four primary descriptors: frequency, flow volume. 2 provides structured classification system possible causes acronym PALM‐COEIN. “PALM” refers structural (Polyp, Adenomyosis, Leiomyoma, Malignancy), “COEI” nonstructural (Coagulopathy, Ovulatory dysfunction, Endometrial, Iatrogenic). The “N” reserved those entities are currently not otherwise classified. Using as gateway streamlines investigation girls with Understanding pathogenesis “PALM‐COEIN” helps interpret investigations onward management Numerous evidence gaps exist concerning AUB; however, if researchers trialists universally adopt Systems assessment diagnosis clear translatable research findings can be applied globally.

Uterine fibroids (UFs) are the most common female benign pelvic tumors, affecting >60% of patients aged 30-44 years. asymptomatic in a large percentage cases and may be identified incidentally using transvaginal ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging scan. However, approximately 30% cases, UFs affect quality life women's health, with abnormal uterine bleeding heavy menstrual being complaints, along iron deficiency (ID) ID anemia. Medical treatments used for UFs-related include symptomatic agents, such as nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs tranexamic acid, hormonal therapies, including combined oral contraceptives, gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists antagonists, levonorgestrel intrauterine systems, selective progesterone receptor modulators, aromatase inhibitors. Nevertheless, few approved specifically UF treatment, them manage symptoms. Surgical options fertility-sparing treatments, myomectomy, nonconservative options, hysterectomy, especially perimenopausal women who not responding to any treatment. Radiologic interventions also available: artery embolization, high-intensity focused resonance-guided ultrasound, radiofrequency ablation. Furthermore, management anemia, consequence acute chronic bleeding, should taken into account use replacement therapy both during medical treatment before after surgical procedure. Abstract Objective To examine the prevalence of menstrual pain among women reproductive age and its impact on their daily lives professional responsibilities. Methods A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted in July August 2022. Phone interviews were carried out using a random system to select aged between 15 49 years old. The questionnaire included sociodemographic variables, contraception method used, characteristics pattern (pain bleeding amount), influence working life, if they would need resort sick leaves due impairments arising from symptoms. To assess the association between menstrual disorders and workforce participation among Australian women. Population-based cohort study. Secondary analysis of eight surveys collected 2000 2021. A total 11 152 women, born 1973 1978. Between 2021, self-reported longitudinal survey data were collected. At each survey, measured. Data analysed using generalised estimating equations for multinomial responses, with stratification by age. Workforce participation. Women who often experienced premenstrual tension reported lower odds working part-time compared to full-time work (Adjusted Odds Ratio (AOR) = 0.74; 95% CI: 0.61, 0.90), this finding strongest women aged 31 40 (AOR 0.68, 0.59, 0.78).
