From deciphering infection and disease mechanisms to identifying novel biomarkers personalizing treatments, the characteristics of individual cells can provide significant insights into a variety biological processes facilitate decision‐making in biomedical environments. Conventional single‐cell analysis methods are limited terms cost, contamination risks, sample volumes, times, throughput, sensitivity, selectivity. Although microfluidic approaches have been suggested as low‐cost, information‐rich, high‐throughput alternative conventional isolation methods, limitations such necessary off‐chip pre‐ post‐processing well systems designed for workflows restricted their applications. In this review, comprehensive overview recent advances integrated microfluidics on‐chip three prominent application domains provided: investigation somatic (particularly cancer immune cells), stem cells, microorganisms. Also, use cell separation (e.g., dielectrophoresis) unconventional or ways, which advance integration multiple systems, is discussed. Finally, critical discussion related current how they could be overcome provided.

ABSTRACT Microalgae, with their rapid growth rates, high intracellular lipid accumulation, and ability to utilize wastewater, emerge as a promising feedstock for high‐quality biodiesel production. Recent contributions in algal fuel research include breakthroughs genetic engineering boost yields, such CRISPR‐modified strains optimized biofuel Innovative bioreactor designs are enhancing scalability energy efficiency, while integration waste‐to‐energy systems enables resource recovery cost savings. Additionally, advancements techno‐economic models making large‐scale production more feasible, aided by supportive government policies subsidies. This review provides comprehensive analysis of recent microalgal techniques methodologies. study aims identify key gaps contribute the optimization processes development sustainable bioenergy solutions.

The ocean, a blue dreamland, harbors endless romance, and mystery. Microfluidic technology, as an innovative approach, enables precise control manipulation of microscale fluids by regulating the flow patterns structures within micrometer-sized channels. It offers new perspective solutions for microbiological analysis. This paper presents comprehensive review microfluidic chip technology in field marine analysis, encompassing micro-organism capture, isolation enrichment, microbial cultivation, fluorescence detection techniques, single-cell impedance cytometry, polymerase chain reaction amplification, gene sequencing technologies, application sensing. challenges currently faced future prospects are also discussed. We believe this will promote research microfluidics domain, providing valuable insights researchers field.
