Response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the ultrasound-assisted extraction conditions of Ginkgo biloba leaves polysaccharide (GBLP). The optimum for GBLP were obtained as liquid material ratio 30 mL/g, ultrasonic power 340 W, and time 50 min. Under these conditions, yield 5.37 %. Two chemically modified polysaccharides, CM-GBLP Ac-GBLP, by carboxymethylation acetylation GBLP. physicochemical properties three polysaccharides comparatively studied their in vitro antioxidant activities evaluated comprehensively. results showed that solubility significantly enhanced activity somewhat improved. This suggests are effective methods enhance properties, but exhibited some uncontrollability. At same time, has also shown high potential research application.

In this study, Shatian pomelo peel was used as the raw material for extracting polysaccharides using hot water extraction (HW) and ultrasonic-assisted enzyme (UVE) methods, respectively. The optimal parameters extractingShatian (StPP) ultrasound-assisted enzymatic method were determined response surface methodology (RSM). conditions of StPP follows: ultrasound power 350 W, time 50 min, digestion compound addition 1.5%, temperature 55 °C. yield found to be 30.1310% under these conditions. Comparing physicochemical properties antioxidant activity extracted different it observed that resulted in higher yield, sugar content glucuronic acid compared traditional extraction. Additionally, by showed better activity. These results suggest is an effective enhance natural polysaccharides.

Antitumor, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, and immunomodulatory properties are all exhibited by maize polysaccharides. With the increasing sophistication of polysaccharide extraction methods, enzymatic method is no longer limited to a single enzyme extract polysaccharides, more often used in combination with ultrasound or microwave, different enzymes. Ultrasound has good cell wall-breaking effect, making it easier dislodge lignin hemicellulose from cellulose surface husk. The "water alcohol precipitation" simplest but most resource- time-consuming process. However, "ultrasound-assisted extraction" "microwave-assisted methods not only compensate for shortcoming, also increase rate. Neurological disorders are characterized by high morbidity, disability, and mortality rates, which seriously threaten human health. However, clinically satisfactory agents for treatment still currently lacking. Therefore, finding neuroprotective with minimum side effects better efficacy is a challenge. Chinese herbal medicine, particularly natural preparations extracted from herbs or plants, has become an unparalleled resource discovering new agent candidates. Astragali Radix important Qi tonic drug in traditional medicine long medicinal history. As it good prevention effect on neurological disorders. Here, the role mechanism of astragaloside IV were evaluated discussed through previous research results. Ipomoea batatas polysaccharides (IBPs) have many important physiological functions. The optimal extraction conditions were time of 40 min, solid-liquid ratio 1:8 and ultrasonic power 240 W. 1D/2D nuclear magnetic resonance (1D/2D NMR) analysis showed that the main chain IBP-1A was mainly composed →4)-α-D-Glcp-(1→ →3, 6)-β-D-Glcp-(1→ residues. In vivo experiments polysaccharide significantly increased levels antioxidation-related enzymes metabolites in older mice. It could relieve oxidative stress injury delay aging.
