Coconut shell waste pollutes the environment and affects public health. Converting coconut to pyrolytic oil (liquid smoke) with antimicrobial properties using microwave-assisted pyrolysis activated charcoal as an absorbent is a promising solution. The purpose of this study investigate process factors involved in manufacture pyrolysis, identify chemical components oil, optimize face-centered central composite design (FCCD). This further used shells various sizes (1–3 mm) employed different power levels (300–600 W) times (5–30 min). results revealed that yield increased time microwave but decreased size materials decreased. optimum obtained was 34.6% at following conditions: 593.6 W, material 2.9 mm, heating 28.5 min. analysis volatile compounds product from gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC–MS) identified total 14 300 15 450 only 5 600 W. With the growth of worldwide population and depletion natural resources, sustainable development food systems cannot be ignored. The demand for agri-food waste valorization practices like high-value compounds production has received widespread attention; however, numerous challenges still exist. present study aims to identify those propose effective solutions based on smart technologies. Based a systematic review literature, combs existing constructs six-dimension conceptual model challenges. Moreover, integrates Fermatean fuzzy set (FFS) with multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods including stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (SWARA), trial evaluation laboratory-interpretative structural modeling method (DEMATEL-ISM), quality function deployment (QFD) evaluate weights each dimension, find causal interrelationships among fundamental ones, rank potential solutions. Finally, results indicate that “Government” dimension is severest challenge point out five primary in valorization. most solution “Facilitating connectivity information sharing between supply chain members (S8)”, which may help government related practitioners manage efficiently also facilitate circular economy.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of ohmic (OH) and microwave heating (MH) pre-treatments on aqueous extraction tomato seed oil. As these thermal techniques disrupt cell structure resulting in enhanced leaching, extractability was expected be increased. Aqueous phase pretreated with OH (14 V/cm), MH (540 W) combination (OH+MH) compare oil extractability. Physiochemical parameters have been determined for extracted showing significant differences (p <0.01). The more OH+MH comparing separately. SEM images treated samples showed cellular damage high recovery. GCMS analysis disclosed presence linoleic acid oleic as major contributors (52.15 %; 27.74 %) compared control (42.05 12.14 %). Abstract Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) is produced through energy-intensive processes and contributes to approximately 8% of global carbon dioxide emissions. As one the most consumed materials after water, cement's environmental impact substantial. Decarbonizing emissions in intensive production requires a sustainable supply low-carbon resources. The purpose this study explore potential agricultural waste ashes as supplementary cementitious (SCMs) reduce footprint OPC. In Africa, where abundant, these residues could offer solution for manufacturing. This employed multi-criteria decision analysis methodology identify select relevant literature analysis. review reveals that incorporating agricultural-based SCMs, such rice husk ash, coffee sugarcane bagasse palm oil fuel into can significantly clinker requirements, thereby lowering while maintaining performance standards found locally sourced by up 40%.
