Achieving renewable clean energy to meet increasing global demand and counter overreliance on depleting unsustainable sources has recently drawn significant research interest. Similarly, attain the sustainable development goals (SDGs) "zero hunger" agenda, massive agricultural/food productions are embarked on, leading increased agro-food waste (AFW) generation with enormous handling costs evade its contribution environmental pollution. The advent of biorefineries fostered a healthy balance for tackling challenges from AFW – thereby promoting circular bioeconomy (CBE). Integrating several emerging microbial/enzymatic bioconversion processes facilitated overall increase in process efficiency. This review, therefore, provides extensive information ecological impacts AFW, as well biorefinery sustainability. We also critically reviewed advances integrated engineering valorization. Finally, limitations prospects real-life application these recent approaches were suggested.

Abstract This study aimed to enhance the economic viability and sustainability of cotton industry by converting cottonseed into energy. Cottonseed was subjected lipid extraction for biodiesel production, a pyrolysis test conducted under N 2 CO conditions valorise defatted cottonseed. Under conditions, increase in concentration due homogeneous reaction with volatile matters. Biochar, pyrolytic product cottonseed, used as catalyst thermally induced transesterification, showed high performance conversion efficiency its abundant alkaline earth metals meso-/macro-pores. For example, transesterification using silica at 250 ˚C yielded only 1.6 wt.% biodiesel, whereas biochar same temperature resulted significantly higher yield 83.5 wt.%. experimentally proved that 7,900 tons (304 million MJ) could be produced annually, surpassing diesel fuel requirement (145 cultivation. Abstract: Nanoemulsions, which are characterized by their nanometer-scale droplets, have gained significant attention in different fields, such as medicine, food, cosmetics, and agriculture, because of unique properties. With an increasing number countries engaging research on nanoemulsions, interest properties, preparation methods, applications has increased. Hence, tracing the relevant nanoemulsions published past ten years a global scale, conducting data mining visualization analysis sufficiently large text dataset through bibliometrics, sorting out summarizing certain indicators, development history, status hotspots field can be clearly revealed, providing reference value significance for subsequent research. This bibliometric review examines landscape from 2013– 2023 via SCI-E SSCI databases, insights into current status, hotspots, future trends this field. To offer comprehensive overview, includes publication counts, author keywords, institutional contributions, areas, prolific authors, highly cited papers hot papers. The findings reveal that China led research, followed USA, India, Brazil, with University Massachusetts emerging key player highest average citations per article (ACPP) h-index.
