This study explores the potential of metaverse technologies for virtual education, comparing four platforms: Workrooms, Spatial, Mozilla Hubs, and Arthur. We evaluate factors like avatars, spatial arrangement, mobility, functionalities' impact on concentration, usability, presence, learning. While learning outcomes show no significant differences, substantial variations in classroom experience emerge. Metaverses with limited movement functionalities exhibit higher immersion, presence. Moreover, avatars enhanced facial expressiveness positively influence overall experience.

We are interested in how metaverse technologies can provide an environment for future virtual education beyond traditional videoconferencing technologies. This study investigates learning and the quality of classroom experience by conducting classes four environments: Meta Horizon Workrooms, Spatial, Mozilla Hubs, Arthur. Through analysis questionnaires, we assess influence factors such as avatars, spatial arrangement, mobility, extra functionalities on concentration, usability, presence, learning. While did not observe significant differences outcomes, our reveals substantial variations experience. Specifically, higher immersion, presence levels were observed metaverses with limited movement functionalities. Also, findings emphasize positive impact avatars realistic facial expressions enhancing overall Finally, present lessons learned offer recommendations class configurations based questionnaire analysis.

Daylight improves indoor environmental quality, the physical and mental health of occupants, their efficiency. Research in area human-centric lighting that considers visual non-visual effects light on human vision, have focused examining perception response to a wide variety aspects. To investigate effect surface materials, window size, shading patterns participants’ evaluation brightness, daylight distribution, contrast, satisfaction with view, virtual reality experiment is implemented university classroom. Moreover, responses are compared metrics (i.e., RAMMG illumines level) evaluate performance robustness. Thirty-three subjects evaluated thirteen immersive environments (IVEs) different glazing visible transmittance, reflectance coefficient surfaces, wall ratio, number windows, geometry using Likert-type scale survey. The results indicated brightness influenced by reflection surfaces WWR. While distribution affected windows addition other studied parameters. Based subjects’ contrast only surfaces. Their amount outside view also WWR windows. based statistical defining specific range acceptable metric not suggested, users' depends material them. Furthermore, level perceived people materials color (beside surfaces), (even similar WWR), pattern same aperture ratio) as well transmittance.

Virtual reality (VR) has become an important resource in light research and ultimate tool for participatory approaches sustainable urban planning. This article reviews the design of VR focusing on profile participants. A search peer-reviewed articles using a systematic literature review Scopus (2000-2023) resulted 56 that show quarter studies integrate participants' characteristics into results but nature samples may put doubt external validity results. The discusses implications these findings practice.

The objective of this research is to propose the implementation neurostimulating architecture strategies for design early childhood educational centers. These could be relevant their in rapidly growing urban areas Peru, where many children lack access education. There has been an increase 4.40% dropout rate at level recent years, and it observed that classrooms facilities are not adequately prepared accommodate activities level. Likewise, difficulty accessing simple architectural enhance cognitive development concerning, especially when infants have a natural capacity acquire new knowledge, which, if stimulated, impact adult lives. methodology adopts mixed approach, analyzing two centers Villa El Salvador district evaluate current conditions relation indicators. Interviews with specialists, questionnaires study subjects, observation guide were also used. This comprehensive approach allows better analysis interpretation results. As result, accessible archetypes based on nine indicators (illumination, green areas, shape, size, layout, accessibility, scale, colors, materiality) obtained, these applied proposal education center. In conclusion, application as strategy potential improve learning development.
