This paper presents a comprehensive holistic methodology implemented for sustainable lighting systems in educational institutions. The proposed is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) 13 (Climate Action), it follows international standards. six-step process includes viability analysis, project design simulation using DIALux 4.13 software, installation of LED systems, redesign some electrical circuits, followed by an analysis return on investment monitorization CO2 energy consumption. results significant (ROI), primarily achieved through savings reduced maintenance costs. implementation tubes, combined occupancy natural light sensors, leads to 66% reduction consumption 15.63 tons (metric tons) annually, translating into quick payback period approximately 2.36 years. Additionally, system Long-Term Monitoring, which ensures that levels are continuously tracked.

This study explores the potential of metaverse technologies for virtual education, comparing four platforms: Workrooms, Spatial, Mozilla Hubs, and Arthur. We evaluate factors like avatars, spatial arrangement, mobility, functionalities' impact on concentration, usability, presence, learning. While learning outcomes show no significant differences, substantial variations in classroom experience emerge. Metaverses with limited movement functionalities exhibit higher immersion, presence. Moreover, avatars enhanced facial expressiveness positively influence overall experience.

Published: July 1, 2024

The psychological effects of the environment on humans have been well established. However, genetic mechanisms individuals in environmental perception and preferences not studied yet. In this research correlation between expression DRD4 gene preference for architectural spaces was investigated. Firstly, simulated VR animation. brain responses participants (N = 42) to stimuli were recorded. Secondly, using qPCR method, compared based frequency their waves. A significant difference observed participant groups. Based results, increase associated with a decrease intensity brain's response stimuli. Also, highest seen Low-privacy (91%), complexity (87.8%), color (84.6%).
