A wound is defined as damage to the integrity of biological tissue, including skin, mucous membranes, and organ tissues. The treatment these injuries an important challenge for medical researchers. Various materials have been used healing dressing applications among which carbon nanomaterials attracted significant attention due their remarkable properties. In present review, latest studies on application graphene oxide (GO), reduced (rGO), dots (CDs), quantum (CQDs), nanotubes (CNTs), nanofibers (CNFs), nanodiamonds (NDs) in are evaluated. Also, a variety carbon-based nanocomposites with advantages such biocompatibility, hemocompatibility, time, antibacterial properties, cell-adhesion, enhanced mechanical permeability oxygen has reported various wounds.

Abstract Chiral carbon dots (CDs) are a novel luminescent zero‐dimensional carbon‐based nanomaterial with chirality. They not only have the advantages of good biocompatibility, multi‐color‐emission, easy functionalization, but also exhibits highly symmetrical chiral optical characteristics, which broadens their applicability to enantioselectivity some amino acids like cysteine and lysine, asymmetric catalysis as well biomedicine in gene expression antibiosis. In addition, exploration excited state chirality CDs has developed its excellent circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) properties, opening up new application scenario recognition light sources anti‐counterfeit printing information encryption. This review mainly focuses on mature synthesis approaches CDs, including ligand method supramolecular self‐assembly method, then we consider emerging applications CPL, biosensing biological effect. Finally, concluded perspective potential challenges future opportunities such fascinating CDs.

The resulting antibiotic residue and organic chemicals from continuous climatic change, urbanization increasing food demand have a detrimental impact on environmental human health protection.
