Measuring personality functioning with the 12-item version of the OPD-Structure Questionnaire (OPD-SQS): reliability, factor structure, validity, and measurement invariance in the general population

The assessment of personality functioning is at the core current dimensional models disorders. A variety measures from different clinical and research traditions aim to assess basic psychological capacities regarding self others. While some instruments have shown reliability validity in or other selected samples, much less known about their performance general population.In three samples representative German adult population with a total 7,256 participants, levels were measured short 12-item version Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis - Structure Questionnaire (OPD-SQS). Assessment of Personality Functioning Across Immigrant Groups– Measurement Invariance and Its Association with Mental Distress in a German Population-Based Sample

Despite the growing body of research on self-report measures personality functioning, tests measurement invariance in immigrant samples have mostly been neglected. The present study aimed to fill this gap by testing OPD-Structure Questionnaire (OPD-SQS) across groups and evaluating association between functioning mental distress. Methods: Based representative population Germany comprising N = 6,999 participants, factor structure OPD-SQS different (1st generation immigrants, 2nd non-immigrants) were examined. Loneliness is a major public health issue and the identification of risk factors crucial for prevention intervention.
