Abstract: Organocatalyst 1,4-diazabicyclo [2.2.2]octane (DABCO) has proven to be an efficient and environmentally friendly catalyst in the multicomponent reaction involving aldehydes, ethylenediamine, thioglycolic acid under microwave conditions. DABCO stands out among other organic catalysts due its cost-effectiveness, non-toxic nature, conscious profile. The method employed this study exhibited exceptional attributes, such as high yields, swift times, atom economy, reusability, minimal loading. Additionally, there were excellent yields of products (90-94%). melting points, UV-Vis, IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, used analyze produced compounds. invitro antibacterial activity synthesized compounds was investigated against pathogenic strains E. coli Bacillus supstalis, results obtained further explained with help DFT molecular orbital calculations. Ionic liquids (ILs) have unique physicochemical properties that make them advantageous for catalysis, such as low vapor pressure, non-flammability, high thermal and chemical stabilities, the ability to enhance activity stability of (bio)catalysts. Multicomponent reactions (MCRs) have emerged as a powerful strategy in synthetic organic chemistry due to their widespread applications drug discovery and development. The discovery of a new class heterocyclic compounds by Pietro Biginelli in 1891 was regarded as watershed point the history chemistry. is well‐known organic chemistry technique for generating dihydropyrimidones/thiones, which are important biological compounds. motifs has been studied drug development because extensive use multiple adducts various domains. current review focuses on magnetic reusable iron nanocatalysts, imparting their catalytic role reaction, can be impregnated with ionic liquids, Lewis's acids, metal (monometallic or bimetallic), hybrid polymers catalyst support. Our ongoing interest developing environmentally friendly synthetic methodologies prompted us to investigate utility magnetically catalysts where workup provides an eco‐friendly approach comparison traditional methods provide clear understanding pathways leading formation adducts.

Abstract The sonochemical‐assisted multicomponent reaction catalyzed by ionic liquid, solvent‐free synthesis, improving chemical structure, computational calculations, and nonlinear optical properties (NLO) assessment of a new amidoalkyl naphthol derivative 4 , that is, [ N ‐((2‐hydroxynaphthalen‐1‐yl)(4‐nitrophenyl)methyl)‐2‐phenylhydrazinecarbothioamide (C 24 H 20 O 3 S), are introduced. corrected structure the synthesized is confirmed different spectroscopic techniques viz., ( 1 13 C) NMR, Infrared radiation (IR), Mass spectra, UV‐vis. spectra. To obtain geometrical confirm experimental findings, DFT‐assisted B3LYP/6‐31G* method used. NLO studied using two visible laser beams where its refraction index (NLRI) at 473 nm cw beam obtained diffraction patterns (DPs) Z‐scan techniques. As high as 5.312×10 −11 m 2 /W NLRI obtained. all‐optical switching (AOS) which usually carried out utilizing beams, controlling controlled, generalized use three controlling, controlled 532 635 beams.
