Abstract
Background
Virtual
reality
(VR)
offers
significant
potential
for
hands‐on
learning
environments
by
providing
immersive
and
visually
stimulating
experiences.
Interacting
with

benefits
to
learning,
including
enhanced
engagement,
knowledge
construction,
higher‐order
thinking.

many
current
VR
studies
in

limiting
participants'

historical-philosophical
evolution

highlighting
key
contributions
from
Socrates
to
Peter
Facione’s
Delphi
Report.
To
facilitate
exploration
comprehension,
this

into
four
stages:
Antiquity,
Middle
Ages,
Renaissance
Modern
Age,
Contemporary
each
marked
by
significant
milestones
shifts.
Findings
suggest
that
dynamic
concept
influenced
diverse
historical,
cultural,
social
factors.

particular,
contemporary
understanding
deeply
shaped
Western
traditions,
including
rationalism,
empiricism,
positivism,
pragmatism.
