Understanding learners' intention toward Metaverse in higher education institutions from a developing country perspective: UTAUT and ISS integrated model DOI

Purpose The Metaverse is an immersive virtual world where individuals interact with each other using avatar. promised to offer several potentials for different sectors. While the promotes innovative interaction between (e.g. learners), there a scarcity of knowledge on what influences its acceptance and use in higher educational institutions (HEIs), particularly developing countries. Thus, this paper aims identify factors that affect users' intentions toward technology purposes HEIs Jordan. Design/methodology/approach A study model was created by incorporating variables from unified theory (UTAUT) (performance expectancy, PE; effort EE; social influence, SI; facilitating conditions, FC) information system success (ISS) (user satisfaction, SAT; quality, SQ; service SVQ IQ) perceived curiosity (PC) hedonic gratification (HG) constructs. Both PC HG were added as context-related could contribute improving applicability UTAUT ISS wide range contexts. Data gathered 441 Jordanian university students online questionnaire. Findings analysis structural revealed behavioural significantly affected user satisfaction (SAT), performance expectancy (PE), conditions (FC) (HG). Also, quality (IQ) services (SVQ) have significant influence satisfaction. Likewise, results illustrated impact systems (SQ), PE. Lastly, effect EE factor found. Practical implications This will shed light number practical developers, designers, providers decision-makers supporting adoption context. it right strategies, content which draw attention learners. Abstract By virtue of its ability to adapt the psychological characteristics college students, new media has now become a key carrier for development Civic and Political Education in colleges universities. This paper explains algorithmic recommendation mechanism from multiple perspectives, opportunities challenges students’ civic education, proposes personalized algorithm education based on LDA model. On basis similarity calculation, user behavior feature extraction model is established. And combined with fuzzy C-mean clustering algorithm, joint information entropy calculated, results are optimized algorithm. Finally, effectiveness problems environment ideological political students empirically analyzed. The show that communication Education, 22.04 percent gave satisfactory answer 5 points content dimension. This research investigates the improvement of learning systems that utilize avatars by shifting from elementary language compatibility to emotion-driven interactions. An assessment various instructional approaches indicated marked differences in overall effectiveness, with system showing steady but slight improvements and little variation, suggesting it has potential for consistent use. Analysis through one-way ANOVA identified noteworthy disparities post-test results across different teaching strategies. However, pairwise comparisons Tukey’s HSD did not reveal significant group differences. The variation limited sample sizes probably affected statistical strength. Evaluation effect size demonstrated traditional approach had an edge over avatar-based method, lessons recorded on video displaying more moderate distinctions. innovative nature might account its initial lower as students could need some time adjust. Abstract Clarifying the construction concept of network ideological and political education platforms in colleges universities is a requirement to grasp fundamental direction education. This paper combines Actor-critic algorithm with state representation model decision-making construct platform functions education, management, service, dissemination, socialization, practice. After practical application Civic Political Education Platform, recognition satisfaction are analyzed through questionnaire surveys. Finally, Learning Achievement Quiz conducted for college students at different stages analyze positive effect on Effect. The results show that four dimensions such as recognition, p -value less than 0.05, indicating difference between experimental class control significant. Specifically, indicators each dimension. Differences in cultural dimensions across countries can influence approaches and behavior patterns education. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the of culture on problem-solving decision-making student projects Indonesia Germany. A comparative approach between two identifies significant differences power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, long-term orientation, indulgence. The research method used is a qualitative with descriptive analysis. Data was collected through interviews observations students involved project. results show that affect students' decision-making. Abstract In the area of online teacher training, asynchronous collaboration faces several challenges such as limited learner engagement and low interaction quality, thereby hindering its overall effectiveness. Drawing on social comparison theory, providing feedback to teacher-learners in collaborative learning offers benefits, but also has drawbacks. While been explored diverse fields, role education remains unclear. this study, we selected 95 primary secondary school teachers participating an training course. Using randomized controlled trial design, provided experimental group with feedback, while control received only self-referential feedback. We used epistemic network analysis, lag sequential analysis identify impact group-regulated focus, group-interactive behaviors, structures. The results showed that significantly enhanced teachers’ learning.
