The
adoption
of
Virtual
Labs
(VLs)
as
a
pedagogical
tool
in
higher
education
is
rapidly
increasing,
especially
with
the
recent
shift
towards
remote
learning
during
COVID-19
pandemic.
VLs
offer
digital
alternative
to
traditional
laboratory
settings,
employing
computer
graphics,
simulations,
and
interactive
models
create
immersive
experiences.
While
benefits
are
well-established,
their
potential
contribution
sustainability
within
Higher
Education
Institutions
(HEIs)
remains
ambiguous.
This
paper
aims
address
this
ambiguity
by
conducting
literature
review
examine
implications
adopting
HEIs.
reveals
that
have
enhance
HEIs
across
multiple
dimensions.
However,
highlights
challenges
limitations
associated
implementing
despite
positive
indications.
These
include
issues
related
usability,
technical
challenges,
costs
VLs.
suggests
need
for
further
research
on
HEIs,
specifically
relation

SDGs.

To
improve
construction
safety
through
proactive
prevention
strategies,
it
is
essential
to
leverage
virtual
reality
(VR)
training
programs
that
foster
active
learning
dynamic
interaction
between
VR
systems
and
learners.
Addressing
this
need,
study
proposed
an
interactive
immersive
(IVR)-based
framework,
incorporating
four
elements
(ILEs):
immediate
feedback,

Online
