Folic acid (FA) has been widely engineered to promote the targeted delivery of FA-modified nanoparticles (NPs) by recognizing folate receptor α (FRα). However, efficacy FA-targeted therapy significantly varied with abundance FRα and natural immunoglobulin levels in different tumors. Therefore, a sequential dexamethasone (Dex)-induced amplification immunosuppression combined FA-functionalized doxorubicin (DOX) micelles synergistically suppress tumor proliferation was proposed this study. In brief, pH/reduction-responsive micelle (FCSD) obtained grafting FA, derivatization-modified cholesterol, 2,3-dimethylmaleic anhydride onto chitosan oligosaccharide. Abstract Background Radiomics is increasingly utilized to distinguish pulmonary nodules between lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and tuberculosis (TB). However, it remains unclear whether different segmentation criteria, such as the inclusion or exclusion of cavity region within nodules, affect results. Methods A total 525 patients from two medical centers were retrospectively enrolled. The radiomics features extracted according regions interest (ROI) criteria. Multiple logistic regression models trained predict pathology: (1) clinical model relied on clinical‐radiological semantic features; (2) (radiomics+ radiomics−) ROIs (including excluding cavities); (3) composite (composite+ composite−) incorporated both above. Results In testing set, radiomics+/− composite+/− still possessed efficient prediction performance (AUC ≥ 0.94), while AUC was 0.881. validation only 0.717, that ranged 0.801 0.825. all significantly superior ( p < 0.05). Whether ROI included excluded had no significant effect these vs. radiomics−, composite+ > Conclusions present study established a machine learning‐based strategy for differentiating LUAD TB lesions. including may exert predictive ability.

Abstract Background Aberrant activation of the phosphatidlinositol 3‐kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (AKT)/mammalian target rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway has been shown to play an important role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD). The effect KRAS mutations, one signatures LUAD, on PI3K/AKT/mTOR LUAD remains unclear. Objective To develop and validate the model for predicting benign malignant ground-glass nodules (GGNs) based on whole-lung baseline CT features deriving from deep learning radiomics. Methods This retrospective study included 385 GGNs 3 hospitals, confirmed by pathology. We used 239 Hospital 1 as training internal validation set; 115 31 2 external test sets 2, respectively. An additional 32 stable with more than five years of follow-up were set 3. evaluated clinical morphological at chest extracted radiomics simultaneously.
