Rigid barrier deflectors can effectively prevent overspilling landslides, and satisfy disaster prevention requirements.However, the mechanisms of interaction between natural granular flow rigid require further investigation.To date, few studies have investigated impact on controlling viscous debris flows for geological prevention.To investigate effect mechanisms, a numerical model using smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method with Herschel-Bulkley is proposed to simulate single/dual barriers without deflectors.This was validated laboratory flume test data from literature.Then, used influence deflector angle multi-barrier arrangements.The optimal configuration multi-barriers analyzed consideration height distance barriers, because these metrics significant pile-up, run-up, overflow mechanisms.The investigation considered energy dissipation process, retention efficiency, dead-zone formation.Compared bare similar geometric characteristics spatial distribution, exhibit superior effectiveness in preventing flow.Recommendations rational design arrangement are provided mitigate disasters.
