The rapid development of the electric vehicle market has greatly stimulated demand for public charging infrastructure (PCI) and made it a pertinent topic to improve its service quality in industry. Data from perceived preference, PCI vehicles cannot reflect factors influencing potential users’ anxiety. This study designed evaluation framework investigate impact economic, technological, market, policy, social environmental on perspective users. Renewable gases like biomethane or Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) can play an important role in short-to mid-term decarbonization of the residential heating sector. By (partially) replacing dominant natural gas, they accomplish two major goals: lowering CO2 emissions and lessening import dependencies. While existing research points to great production potential technical options for producing renewable gases, demand side has largely been neglected. Yet consumer decision making is highly relevant climate change mitigation. Against this backdrop, we conducted a Discrete Choice Experiment with 512 consumers Germany, country high dependency on gas. We decomposed gas tariff into six attributes (share labels, regionality, feedstock, supplier type, price) varying attribute levels. identified knowledge gaps regarding both SNG technologies, which are more pronounced SNG. Results show that mix price key evaluations. Labels feedstock less relevant, regionality type almost neglectable. Abstract With the rapid advancement of industrialization and urbanization, China is facing an increasingly serious challenge air pollution.
