The ambitious goal of the European Union (EU) countries is to achieve carbon neutrality by providing inclusive economic growth, which requires development relevant incentives and initiatives. This study aims to examine the linkages between renewable energy consumption (REC), nonrenewable (NREC), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) emissions, and economic growth in emerging Asian countries during period 1975–2020 using a panel augmented mean group (AMG) estimation technique. The results of long-run coefficient elasticity show that REC, NREC, employed labor force, capital formation contribute significantly growth. research analysis also found NREC increases long-term emissions while REC reduces emissions. Moreover, gross domestic product (GDP) GDP 3 have significant positive impact on environmental degradation has adverse pollution, thus validating N-shaped Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis selected economies. country-wise AMG strategy points out India Bangladesh no EKC hypothesis, China Singapore an inverted U-shaped Japan South Korea hypothesis. Because of the harsh environmental impacts fossil fuels, price fluctuation, and resource limitation, renewable energy resources (RERs) are considered ultimate solution to overcome these challenges. RERs also abundant environmentally friendly. It has been reported that growth rates in installations have increased by 8-9 % annually since 2010, reaching a cumulative capacity 2.9 TW 2020 exceeding rate for resources. In this work, different critically discussed terms their operation principles, advantages, disadvantages, associated impacts- focusing on wind solar energies as most deployed RERs.
