Plastic pollution continues to erupt as a global ecological concern. As plastic debris is degraded into nanoscale and microscale particles via biodegradation, UV-irradiation, mechanical processes, nanoplastic arises threat virtually every biological system on the planet. In this study, zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos were exposed fluorescently labeled at nanoscales (30 nm 100 nm). The uptake of both (NPs) was found exponentially increase with incubation time. Penetration NPs through natural barrier embryos, chorion, observed prior hatching embryo. result, accumulate body surface well inside zebrafish. invasion induced upregulation several stress immune response genes including interleukins (il6 il1b), cytochrome P450 (cyp1a cyp51), reactive oxygen species (ROS) removal protein-encoding (sod cat). Nanopolystyrene (NP) and phoxim (PHO) are common environmental pollutants in aquatic systems. We evaluated the toxic effects of exposure to ambient concentrations NP and/or PHO intestines Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis). Our study showed that histopathological changes were observed intestines. Specifically, increased intraepithelial lymphocytes. Furthermore, induced oxidative stress, as evidenced by a significant decrease superoxide dismutase activity (SOD), peroxidase (POD), total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC). Pro-inflammatory gene expression transcriptome analysis demonstrated intestinal inflammatory response. Transcriptome results upregulated NF-κB signaling pathway, which is considered key pathway Additionally, pro-inflammatory genes significantly after single or PHO, but it exhibited co-exposure.
