Antimicrobials are frequently used in both humans and animals for the treatment of bacterially-generated illnesses. Antibiotic usage has increased more than 40% from last 15 years globally per day human populations farm leading to large-scale discharge antibiotic residues into wastewater. Most antibiotics end up sewer systems, either directly industry or healthcare indirectly after being partially metabolized broken down following consumption. To prevent additional compound pollution, which eventually impacts on spread resistance, it is crucial remove accumulation resistance genes cannot be effectively efficiently eliminated by conventional sewage plants. Because their high energy requirements operating costs, many available technologies not feasible. However, biosorption method, uses low-cost biomass as biosorbent, an alternative technique potentially address these problems. An extensive literature survey focusing developments field was conducted using English language electronic databases, such PubMed, Google Scholar, Pubag, books, ResearchGate, understand relative value removal methods. The predominant techniques eliminating wastewater were categorized defined example. approaches contrasted, benefits drawbacks highlighted. Additionally, we included a few whose aquatic environments been subject research. Lastly, representative publications identified that provide specific information rates attained each technique. This review provides evidence biological waste natural biosorbent materials affordable effective

Enrofloxacin (ENR) is widely used as a synthetic fluoroquinolone antibiotic for disease control in aquatic animals. ENR aptamers were screened this study using the magnetic bead-SELEX method, and graphene oxide fluorescent sensor was developed to detect residues products. Firstly, conjugated amino beads by amidation reaction, then aptamer sequences showing high affinity step SELEX screening method. Finally, after 10 rounds of screening, six candidate with obtained. Among these, ENR-Apt 6 selected based on its secondary structure features, (

The detection and monitoring of aminoglycoside antibiotics (AGAs) have become utmost importance due to their widespread use in human animal therapy, as well the associated risks exposure, toxicity, emergence antimicrobial resistance. In this study, we successfully synthesized casein hydrolysate peptides-functionalized silver nanoparticles (CHPs@AgNPs) employed them a novel colorimetric analytical platform demonstrate remarkable specificity sensitivity toward AGAs. spectral response CHPs@AgNPs was observed at 405 520 nm, showing linear correlation with concentration streptomycin, representative AGA. color changes from yellow orange provided visual indication analyte concentration, enabling quantitative determination for real-world samples. AgNP assay exhibited excellent dynamic ranges approximately 200-650 100-700 nM streptomycin-spiked tap water dairy whey limits found be ∼98 56 nM, respectively. mechanism behind selective aggregation presence AGAs involves amine groups target analytes acting molecular bridges electrostatic coupling hydroxyl or carboxyl functionalities adjacent NPs, driving formation stable NP aggregates. developed offers several advantages, making it suitable various practical applications. It is characterized by its simplicity, rapidity, specificity, sensitivity, cost-effectiveness. These unique features make method promising tool quality, ensuring food safety, dealing emergent issues antibiotic
