This study investigates the correlation between microstructural evolution and thermal conductivity in additively manufactured CoCrNi medium-entropy alloy (MEA). Specifically, of as-built MEA was compared with that post-processed subjected to hot isostatic pressing (HIP). HIP treatment used reduce defects such as pores dislocations. The measured HIP-processed exhibited higher values ∼12.24 W/m·K ∼3.28 at room temperature deep cryogenic temperatures (300 K 20 K), (∼8.85 ∼2.46 for 300 K). improvement is attributed reduced electron scattering caused by fewer lattice after post-processing.
