The growing interest in hydrogen (H2) has motivated process engineers and industrialists to investigate the potential of liquid (LH2) storage. LH2 is an essential component H2 supply chain. Many researchers have studied storage from perspective tank structure, boil-off losses, insulation schemes, conditions. A few review studies also been published considering storage; however, most are simply collections previous articles. None these articles critically evaluated research In this study, recent reports, conceptual studies, patents included discussed. Further, challenges recommendations listed based on literature review. Our results suggest that multi-layer scheme integrated refrigeration system can effectively reduce losses. However, losses tanks during transportation least discussed must be addressed. cost high, but it reduced with advancements materials utilization latest technologies. present future directions for include minimizing utilizing improving ensuring cost-effective large-scale This study fundamental new academic design energy-efficient systems.

This study investigates the correlation between microstructural evolution and thermal conductivity in additively manufactured CoCrNi medium-entropy alloy (MEA). Specifically, of as-built MEA was compared with that post-processed subjected to hot isostatic pressing (HIP). HIP treatment used reduce defects such as pores dislocations. The measured HIP-processed exhibited higher values ∼12.24 W/m·K ∼3.28 at room temperature deep cryogenic temperatures (300 K 20 K), (∼8.85 ∼2.46 for 300 K). improvement is attributed reduced electron scattering caused by fewer lattice after post-processing. These findings emphasize fundamental relationship properties both MEAs exceptional conductivity.
