Abstract ChatGPT-3.5, an AI language model capable of text generation, translation, summarization, and question-answering, has recently been released for public use. Studies have shown it can generate abstracts, research papers, dissertations, create quality essays on different topics. This led to ethical issues in using ChatGPT academic writing, authorship, evaluating students’ essays. However, is still unknown how performs environments as a writing assistant tool if enhances essay-writing performance. In the present study, we examined performances with or without assistance tool. The average essay grade was C both control (traditional essay-writing, n = 9) experimental (ChatGPT-assisted groups. None predictors affected scores: group, duration, study module, GPA. unauthenticity slightly higher but similarity among generally low overall sample. classifier recognized more potential AI-generated texts. Our results demonstrate that group did not perform better either indicators; students deliver content, write faster, nor had degree authentic text. We anticipate these relieve some concerns about this tool’s usage writing. ChatGPT-assisted could depend previous knowledge skills user, which might, certain instances, lead confusion inexperienced users result poorer

Student well-being (SWB) encompasses the physical, psychological, and social wellness of students, aspects increasingly at risk in high-pressure environment higher education. Marked by intense workloads, unmet expectations, uncertainties around degree completion employment, education sector faces a growing challenge maintaining enhancing SWB. Current instruments for assessing SWB are limited scope, failing to capture its multifaceted nature comprehensively. Addressing this gap, our research adopts rigorous multi-study, multi-method, multi-sample approach develop validate multi-dimensional scale that effectively captures nuances This process encompassed five methodical stages: generation, purification, refinement, validation, generalizability. The resulting scale, encompassing key dimensions—academic well-being, financial physical psychological resilience relational well-being—provides sophisticated tool measuring improving contexts. Crucially, paper extends beyond development explore profound implications management By integrating into curricula institutional cultures, study underscores potential significantly contribute Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health Well-being. Aim: To compare students' essay writing performance with or without employing ChatGPT-3 as a assistant tool.Materials and methods: Eighteen students participated in the study (nine control nine experimental group that used ChatGPT-3). We scored elements grades (A-D) corresponding numerical values (4-1). compared scores to GPTs, time, authenticity, content similarity. Results: Average grade was C for both groups; (2.39 ± 0.71) (2.00 0.73). None of predictors affected scores: (P = 0.184), duration 0.669), module 0.388), GPA 0.532). The text unauthenticity slightly higher (11.87% ±13.45 9.96% 9.81%), but similarity among essays generally low overall sample (the Jaccard index ranging from 0 0.054). In group, AI classifier recognized more potential AI-generated texts. Conclusions: This found no evidence using GPT tool improves quality since outperformed most parameters.

The invention of AI-Chatbot is undeniably one the most remarkable achievements by humanity, harnessing an unparalleled level power and potential. In near future, AI-chatbots are expected to become valuable tools in education, aiding students their learning journeys. This study aims explore performance accuracy two chatbots, ChatGPT Bard understanding text-based structural notations such as, condensed structures, InChi SMILES answering organic chemistry related questions. Their ability perform tasks as converting IUPAC names, InChi, into forms vice versa, identifying functional groups, generating molecular formulas, predicting resonance patterns was studied. ChatGPTs' percentages for various follows: determining degree unsaturation from formulas (90-80%), (79-64%), (86-64%); groups structures (94%) (65-50%); (86-73%), (38%), (22-17%), (56-44%); (65-50%) (28-11%); (42-37%) (25-20%). contrast, consistently performed lower tasks. Both chatbots had significant limitations, especially with which have been used successfully machine learning. GPT-4, newer version ChatGPT, also tested against these tasks, slight improvements were observed areas, particularly reading notations. While advanced hold promising potential enduring educational chemistry, inspiring reevaluation teaching strategies, implementation should be carefully monitored, considering rapid pace advancements.
